The 2008 ¡°Zhonghai Cup¡± photography competition, with its theme of ¡°Beijing traffic¡±, is run by the China Daily, Beijing Traffic Management Bureau, Beijing Photographers Association and Beijing Zhonghai Real Estate. The competition started on August 19 and the deadline for entries is September 30.
Content:
Each contestant is invited to submit a single photo, or series of photos, depicting the work and life of traffic police during the Olympics. Possible themes include traffic police on duty and on patrols in Beijing; vehicles around the stadiums; any traffic management situation; people on their travels; Olympic lanes and street scenes etc.

Request:
The content of submitted works should be positive. There is no restriction on the form, style and amount of photos that can be submitted. Digital photographs should be in JPG format and the minimum size of each image is 3mb. Printed photos should be 5 to 10 inches high.
